John Abernathy is an LA based architect, graphic designer, and bartender. His dedication to client satisfaction makes him uniquely suited for a multi-faceted approach to any given task. John believes that creativity and design are crucial to any successful endeavor.
architecture
John is fond of saying that building with Lego bricks started his architectural journey. From then to a career filled with extraordinary opportunities helping clients realize their dreams, John’s creative vision and award-winning designs provide unique solutions for each edifice.
graphic design
John began working with graphic design applications on a black and white Mac II, and used that foundation to build his architectural presentations throughout his career. In the last five years, he’s steadily increased his output of logos, product, and website design. From revamping Dish Catering’s logo and website to creating hundreds of designs for TeePublic and RedBubble to an artful invitation to his wedding, John is constantly creating and improving his skills as a graphic artist.
bartending
John’s bartending adventure began during the Covid pandemic when he taught himself how to properly stir a cocktail with a bar spoon. He then began bartending for Dish Catering, and recently Good Gracious Events. John’s favorite aspect of tending bar is interacting with guests to insure they have a great time as well as fantastic drinks.
